Description:

RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. This characteristic little rural home lies on the slopes of San Giovanni Rotondo, amongst the routes of religious pilgrimage and seaside attractions. The house, perfectly integrated in the natural context of the area, is characterised by the infinite nuances of the large green areas; the interior is an original blend of period furnishing and made-to-measure elements, creating eclectic rooms and diffused comfort. The outdoor areas, such as the pool and the outdoor kitchen, are an extension of the living area which guests can enjoy at all hours of the day. A short distance away are renowned localities like Manfredonia, Mattinata, Monte Sant'Angelo, Vieste, Peschici, the lakes of Lesina and Varano, the Gargano National Park and the Tremiti Islands.

Interior:

The house has just one floor. The entrance leads to an immense covered veranda, with table tennis and TV area. From here you can reach the fully equipped kitchen. On the right of the kitchen, there is the sleeping area composed of a double bedroom, with adjacent bathroom with shower and tub, and a twin bedroom with single beds. The kitchen area also leads to a small sitting room with double sofabed and half bathroom. At the poolside is a large covered fully equipped kitchen and other two bathrooms with shower.

Park:

The approximately one-hectare park contains fruit trees and various tall trees scattered around which create areas of shade but which, above all, provide colour to the exterior. There are various shady relaxation areas and, in particular, an attractive gazebo for relaxing and dining in the open air. There is also a beach volley court behind the pool area, ideal for sports enthusiasts. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The greatest attraction of the property is the infinity pool, designed to cover the large areas and fulfil all the bathers' needs. Lined in PVC with chlorine purification, the pool measures 12 x 8 m with a varying depth of 1,20 to 3,80 m. Entrance to the water is across a strip of shallow water where guests can lie in the sun whilst immersed in the water or else swim freely. The surrounding, ceramic-tiled sunbathing area is equipped with small tables, chaises longues, outdoor tables and an outdoor cold-water shower. The pool is available from the last saturday of April to the first saturday of October.

San Giovanni Rotondo is a little town set on a promontory known for being the final resting place of Padre Pio, a Capuchin friar who lived here for many years. The centre of the town is known for its prosperous religious tourism centred on the figure of the friar. Besides this little town, the territory can boast of various attractions just a few kilometres away such as Manfredonia, with its gulf and beach resorts, and Vieste, pearl of the Gargano, for years recipient of the Blue Flag award for its splendid sea, and part of the Gargano National Park. It is also possible to take a boat from Peschici or Vieste to visit the Tremiti Islands, renowned for their clear waters and untouched nature.

Very friendly hosts, the outdoor area and pool are excellent. It is perfect for an outdoor live! especially being able to sit in the shade at any time of the day is great (this big parasol is amazing). And we cannot forget the table tennis :-). There was nothing (amenities) not available which we have hardly seen over the years

dishwasher in the outdoor structure would have been our only recommendation (but it is to move from a rating 10 to 11)

Very friendly hosts, the outdoor area and pool are excellent. It is perfect for an outdoor live! especially being able to sit in the shade at any time of the day is great (this big parasol is amazing). And we cannot forget the table tennis :-). There was nothing (amenities) not available which we have hardly seen over the years
Do you have any suggestions to improve the property?
dishwasher in the outdoor structure would have been our only recommendation (but it is to move from a rating 10 to 11)

la piscina, la cucina esterna, tutti gli attrezzi della cucina, l'aria condizionata nonché la straordinaria gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietaria. Inoltre cosa non da poco è presente un trattamento contro le zanzare davvero efficace!
