Description:

PRIVATE STRUCTURE (Rental only). Villa La Giara is a charming rustic hideaway, simple and romantic. This delightful stone house stands on the edge of a promontory in an enviable position. From here you can admire the coastline of sandy coves and rocky bays from the heated jacuzzi and from the terraces. Each room enjoys a direct access to outdoors thus creating a pleasant indoor outdoor situation. The lovely garden includes a space for outdoor eating complete with barbecue. This villa is perfect for those who love the sea in privacy where the beach is easily reached directly from the terrace but yet only a few kilometers from the wonderful Cefalù with its many restaurants bars and shops. The area is rich of hilltop villages on the Madonie mountains such as Castelbuono, full of history and nature reserves, like the one of the Madonie with numerous walks to take on your own or with a specialized guide. In about one hour's drive is the capital, Palermo with its colorful delights like markets, historical monuments, great shopping and local delicacies in every corner.

Interior:

Villa La Giara develops on one floor and is furnished with simplicity. The main entrance gives onto a still room with a pantry. From here you can access the masonry kitchen clad with typical Sicilian tiles and a direct access to the outdoor eating space. The kitchen is simple but complete with bare necessities and include a dishwasher and washing machine. The floor is completed by a bathroom with shower, a small living area with a dining table and a couple of armchairs that act as sitting area. From here, an oblique ladder leads up to bedroom on a mezzanine with a sea view window. Please note: Due to the low ceiling in the mezzanine bedroom, the ladder between the ground floor and the mezzanine and a low ceiling (1,55m) in the passage between the pantry and the living room, this property is not advisable to children, tall persons, and those with restricted mobility.

Park:

The entrance lane is flanked by tall pine trees that shade the parking spaces. Outside, the pretty lawned garden with mediterranean macchia of 35 sq. m. houses a heated jacuzzi (1,45m x 2,50m available all year). Nearby is the outdoor cold shower and sunbathing area with sea view. There are three panoramic terraces, one on each side of the villa. The terrace at the back with its outdoor eating area and barbecue can be accessed directly from the kitchen. The private gate opens onto the stairs that lead down to the beach (about 50 steps). Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

The villa stands on a promontory 17 m above sea level within a peaceful residential area. The breathtaking view takes in the Tyrrhenian coastline from east to west. The beach (Settefrati) is not serviced, partly sandy and rocky, is reached by a 50 step stairway reserved to the residents of the nearby houses. Cefalù, with its vast choice of bars, restaurants, shops, banks and chemists is only 6 kms from the villa. The coast is dotted with numerous beaches, serviced and non, seafront fish restaurants and small villages in the Madonie area, such as Sant'Ambrogio and Castelbuono where you can taste local delicacies. Santo Stefano di Camastra has a lovely town centre and is well known for its colourful ceramic shops and laboratories.

The final booking price includes the Insurance Policy for Villa Stay Cancellation,
which reimburses you for the cancellation penalties, provided for in Emma Villas’ general terms and conditions, in the event of:
  • Sudden illness or accidental injury of you and/or the stay participants
  • Death or hospitalization of you and/or the stay participants
  • Hiring or dismissal by the employer of you and/or the stay participants
  • Court summons for you or the stay participants
The insurance will be valid for all participants whose names are registered in the appropriate form.

  • Healthcare for family members left at home;
  • Reimbursement of medical expenses;
  • Repeat Trip Guarantee that reimburses the unused portion without deductible in the case of medical return home or early return home.

ZER0DEP COVER - by Emma Villas (Mandatory) 99€ each reservation This guarantee protects you and allows you to have a tranquil holiday. Zer0Dep stands for "Zero deposit"; it is a coverage which replaces the security deposit and which is therefore mandatory. The benefits of this guarantee are: you do not pay the security deposit on arrival: neither in cash nor by immobilising a substantial amount on your credit card limit;
  • you are covered in case of any damage to the property caused by you or members of your group/family during your stay (up to the maximum limit of 1,500 euros);
  • you avoid any dispute on the responsibility of the damage and its quantification during check-out;
  • you can enjoy your villa holiday in greater toughtlessly.

"EMMA", OUR NEW APP FOR SMART SERVICE Furthermore, from spring 2021, all our properties will be supported by Emma, a multifunctional Web-App, developed in partnership with Vikey s.r.l., that will allow you to implement:
  • online check-in (entering the required details that you did not enter when booking);
  • payment of tourist tax (where due) and eventual flat-rate payments requested (eg electricity, heating, extra cleaning for animals, etc.);
  • the purchase of additional services, hospitality (extra cleaning, in-house chef, first grocery shopping, etc.) and experiences (food and wine tours, guided tours, etc.)
