To get to Casale Dei, just follow the dirt track flanked by olive trees and guarded by boundless garrisons of vines that wind rapidly through the distinctive and stunning scenery that frames this typical Tuscan farmhouse, perched on the hills of Montepulciano at 320 m above sea level and part of one of the largest and most prestigious farms in the area, whose cultivations of olives and grapes produce an exceptional extra-virgin olive oil and the prestigious nectar which, in this fertile land, is labeled Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, which you can taste in the exclusive rooms that form the underground cellar, completely constructed in travertine and with an extraordinary spiral-shaped entrance: a true architectural masterpiece, located about 5 chilometres form the farmhouse, not to be missed (https://www.cantinedei.it/) . The remains of an old 16th century tower, then converted into a farmhouse, gave rise to this elegant, two-storey villa in stone which, together with the annex converted from an old barn, has been restored with the indigenous materials of the local traditional artisanship to accommodate a maximum of twelve people in the spacious living area that opens out on to the porch and in the intimate bedrooms, all served by bathrooms in Tuscan travertine. Interior:

Casale Dei has two floors connected only externally by a terracotta staircase. The main entrance, under one of the porticos along the front façade of the house, leads into the living room, connected on the right with the kitchen, pantry and dining room. From here a French window leads directly out to the portico set up for alfresco dining. Continuing through the living room we come to a hallway leading to the sleeping area on this floor with three double bedrooms (with divisible bed), each with private bathroom (one with whirlpool tub, one with shower and one with tub). The external staircase between the two porticos leads up to the first floor, arranged with an open-plan living room - dining room, a kitchenette and two bedrooms. A double with ensuite bathroom and a twin bedroom served by a bathroom with shower. Finally, the laundry room is located in a room with access from the outside. Please note: the fireplace is ornamental.

Park:

In the large grounds surrounding the house, set inside a farm and for the most part occupied by the cultivation of vines, extends the park pertaining to the property which covers an area of about 700 sq m and which consists of a cosy garden enlivened by cypresses, olive trees, lavender and rosemary bushes and pots of assorted colourful flowers. Outside the living room and the dining room are two porches of which one is set up as outdoor dining area. Near the main entrances of both the villa and the annex is a parking area (at the end of the driveway). Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

In a quiet, discreet area of the garden, which offers a particularly fascinating scenario with vineyards and the borgo of Montepulciano on the horizon, lies the beautiful swimming pool, perfectly integrated in the surrounding rural landscape and just a few metres from the house. The rectangular pool measures 11 x 5 m with the depth ranging from 1.10 to 1.60 m., is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification. It has elegant Roman steps for access to the water and the border is in travertine marble as is the sunbathing area around the pool, provided with sunbeds and a gazebo, with nearby a hot and cold-water shower. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

The villa is just few kilometres away from the small Renaissance town of Montepulciano, known principally for its imposing Renaissance buildings, for the elegant beauty of its churches and for the “Vino Nobile”, one of the most internationally famous wines of Tuscany. The strategic position of Montepulciano, a spur 605 metres above sea level between the Val d’Orcia and the Val di Chiana, makes this property the ideal departure point for visiting the beauties of Tuscany. The A1 motorway exits of Chiusi/Chianciano Terme (coming from south) and Valdichiana (coming from north) are only 20 kilometres away and so cities like Florence, Siena, Orvieto and Rome can be easily reached. The motorway is not needed to visit the nearby villages of Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino, Cortona, Sarteano and the close by Umbria region. The best served and most important railway station is that of Chiusi which is about 20 kilometres away.

A double with ensuite bathroom and a twin bedroom served by a bathroom with shower. Finally, the laundry room is located in a room with access from the outside. Please note: the fireplace is ornamental.

Park:

In the large grounds surrounding the house, set inside a farm and for the most part occupied by the cultivation of vines, extends the park pertaining to the property which covers an area of about 700 sq m and which consists of a cosy garden enlivened by cypresses, olive trees, lavender and rosemary bushes and pots of assorted colourful flowers. Outside the living room and the dining room are two porches of which one is set up as outdoor dining area. Near the main entrances of both the villa and the annex is a parking area (at the end of the driveway). Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

In a quiet, discreet area of the garden, which offers a particularly fascinating scenario with vineyards and the borgo of Montepulciano on the horizon, lies the beautiful swimming pool, perfectly integrated in the surrounding rural landscape and just a few metres from the house. The rectangular pool measures 11 x 5 m with the depth ranging from 1.10 to 1.60 m., is lined in PVC and has chlorine purification. It has elegant Roman steps for access to the water and the border is in travertine marble as is the sunbathing area around the pool, provided with sunbeds and a gazebo, with nearby a hot and cold-water shower. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.

The villa is just few kilometres away from the small Renaissance town of Montepulciano, known principally for its imposing Renaissance buildings, for the elegant beauty of its churches and for the “Vino Nobile”, one of the most internationally famous wines of Tuscany. The strategic position of Montepulciano, a spur 605 metres above sea level between the Val d’Orcia and the Val di Chiana, makes this property the ideal departure point for visiting the beauties of Tuscany. The A1 motorway exits of Chiusi/Chianciano Terme (coming from south) and Valdichiana (coming from north) are only 20 kilometres away and so cities like Florence, Siena, Orvieto and Rome can be easily reached. The motorway is not needed to visit the nearby villages of Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino, Cortona, Sarteano and the close by Umbria region. The best served and most important railway station is that of Chiusi which is about 20 kilometres away.
