PRIVATE STRUCTURE (lease only). In the absolute tranquillity of the Umbrian countryside, close to Todi, is Casale dei Gelsomini, a splendid house set in this magnificent green hilly landscape, rich in history, culture, traditions and good food. From the windows and the pool you look out over a panorama of breathtaking beauty while the magical atmosphere surrounding you at Casale dei Gelsomini while sipping a glass of wine at sunset will be an unforgettable experience. Newly built, it has maintained the style of typical country houses with its stone-clad exterior, wooden ceiling beams and country-chic wooden floor planks that provide a particularly intense warmth. Designed with great attention to detail and equipped with all comforts, its luxurious interior is the result of a successful combination of traditional architectural elements and modern furnishings that render every room warm and welcoming. The large open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious and bright thanks to the large windows that face out to the portico. The wonderful infinity pool, with its limitless view, is surrounded by olives, lawn and many fragrant and colourful flowers. The house is within easy reach of the many places of natural, artistic and religious interest in the area. Todi, with its incredible variety of natural landscapes, prestigious architectural heritage and rich culture formed by ancient traditions, is 10 minutes from the property but not far away are other famous towns of central Italy - Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia and Spoleto. The excellent motorway links also ensure easy travel to the nearby regions of Tuscany and Lazio.

Interior:

The two-storey house takes advantage of the sloping hillside terrain. The main entrance on the ground floor goes into the open-plan living area composed of lounge with fireplace, dining area and well-equipped kitchen with central island and fireplace, leading directly out to the portico. A double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom and a laundry just outside the front door complete this floor. A marble staircase in the entrance leads up to the first floor which consists of three double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air conditioning and digital TV.

Park:

The 3-hectare property surrounds the house, part of which is completely fenced. From the automatic entrance gate you arrive directly at the entrance to the house. In the garden are many types of flowers, jasmine, lavender and roses, that alternate with olive trees in the manicured lawn areas around the house and in the pool area. Outside the French window of the dining room/lounge/kitchen is a large portico with wooden-beamed roof set up with chairs, table and mobile barbecue. In the evening the outdoor lights in various strategic spots render the garden even more fascinating, both around the pool and in the rest of the property. The parking area, with two covered parking spaces, is located at a lower level in the end of the driveway. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The wonderful infinity pool lies on the lower terrace of the property, accessible from the house down a flight of steps. An open view over the countryside and Todi offers impressive and thrilling sunsets. The rectangular pool, with light-coloured travertine border and PVC lining, has five internal steps on one side for access to the water, internal lighting and chlorine purification. It measures 12 x 6 m from 1.30 m deep up to 2 m. The sunbathing area, along the perimeter of the pool paved in light-coloured travertine and in the surrounding lawn area, is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and gazebo. There is a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Located close the Medieval city of Todi, not far from the freeway E45, principal Umbrian road to reach tourist cities uch as Perugia (45 min. drive), Assisi (1 hour drive), Spoleto (1 and half hours drive). The artistic town of Orvieto is at 30 minutes drive from the Castle, and here is also the Exit A1 motorway, that allows you to easily reach Rome and Florence, and all the memorable places in the area. Another Exit of the motorway A1 is Orte that is connected with the E45 Perugia–Cesena and where you will find the exit in Todi. The railway station is connected with the line of the Umbrian railways that connected Todi with Perugia or Terni.

Interior:

The two-storey house takes advantage of the sloping hillside terrain. The main entrance on the ground floor goes into the open-plan living area composed of lounge with fireplace, dining area and well-equipped kitchen with central island and fireplace, leading directly out to the portico. A double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom and a laundry just outside the front door complete this floor. A marble staircase in the entrance leads up to the first floor which consists of three double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom with shower. All the rooms have air conditioning and digital TV.

Park:

The 3-hectare property surrounds the house, part of which is completely fenced. From the automatic entrance gate you arrive directly at the entrance to the house. In the garden are many types of flowers, jasmine, lavender and roses, that alternate with olive trees in the manicured lawn areas around the house and in the pool area. Outside the French window of the dining room/lounge/kitchen is a large portico with wooden-beamed roof set up with chairs, table and mobile barbecue. In the evening the outdoor lights in various strategic spots render the garden even more fascinating, both around the pool and in the rest of the property. The parking area, with two covered parking spaces, is located at a lower level in the end of the driveway. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Swimming Pool:

The wonderful infinity pool lies on the lower terrace of the property, accessible from the house down a flight of steps. An open view over the countryside and Todi offers impressive and thrilling sunsets. The rectangular pool, with light-coloured travertine border and PVC lining, has five internal steps on one side for access to the water, internal lighting and chlorine purification. It measures 12 x 6 m from 1.30 m deep up to 2 m. The sunbathing area, along the perimeter of the pool paved in light-coloured travertine and in the surrounding lawn area, is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and gazebo. There is a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Located close the Medieval city of Todi, not far from the freeway E45, principal Umbrian road to reach tourist cities uch as Perugia (45 min. drive), Assisi (1 hour drive), Spoleto (1 and half hours drive). The artistic town of Orvieto is at 30 minutes drive from the Castle, and here is also the Exit A1 motorway, that allows you to easily reach Rome and Florence, and all the memorable places in the area. Another Exit of the motorway A1 is Orte that is connected with the E45 Perugia–Cesena and where you will find the exit in Todi. The railway station is connected with the line of the Umbrian railways that connected Todi with Perugia or Terni.

The room and bathroom refresh service includes an intervention aimed at restoring order, cleanliness, freshness, and comfort to the spaces.

This service does not include deep cleaning, but it ensures a tidy, welcoming, and functional environment for guests throughout their stay.

The activities include airing the rooms, reorganizing the spaces, making the beds, replenishing used linens, and performing a general check of the room and bathrooms.

Full Cleaning

The full cleaning service of the property involves a thorough intervention aimed at ensuring hygiene and order in all areas, without including linen replacement.

The activities include:

  • Cleaning of floors, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.

  • General inspection of the condition of the spaces and attention to small details to ensure a neat and well-maintained appearance.

This service, which does not include linen changes, ensures that the spaces are thoroughly clean and ready for use.

Linen & Textiles

Additional bed and bathroom linen

This service provides additional bed and bath linen, in addition to what is already included according to the booking conditions.


Price per piece: 19.00 €

The service includes:

  • Provision of extra sheets, pillowcases, and blankets for the beds.
  • Provision of additional towels, bath mats, and bath linens.

The service does not include bed-making or the cleaning of used linen, but it ensures that guests always have fresh and sufficient linen available according to their needs.

Baby Amenities
